Director of Development
Mass of the Ages is a traditional Catholic media company whose mission is to increase Latin Masses around the world. We accomplish our mission by training priests to learn the TLM and through our dedication to preserving and highlighting the role of tradition in our Catholic faith.
We are hiring a Development Director to help us secure donations necessary to accomplish our mission. We currently have several thousands of existing and prospective donors in our database/CRM.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations
- Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with all donors, especially major donors
- Consistent encouragement, support and collaboration with CEO for fundraising initiatives and stewardship
- Create quarterly development updates for executives and advisory board
- Plan donor events and fundraising initiatives
- Planning and evaluating fundraising campaigns and activities
- Work with data analyst(s) to identify prospective donors
- Training fundraising staff and volunteer advisory board
- Report to the CEO to create and manage all aspects of the annual budget
- Communicating with donors and staff via email, phone or social media
- Work with staff responsible for CRM data entry and analysis
- Answering donor and staff inquiries in a timely fashion
- Using prospect research tools and your donor database to build donor relationships
- Attend daily huddles, weekly tactical meetings and monthly strategic meetings
- Staying on top of fundraising trends in the nonprofit community
Qualifications:
- You must have zeal for the traditional Latin Mass
- You must be obedient to the magisterium of the Catholic Church
- You must be dedicated to personal prayer
- You must be embody our five core values: zeal, excellence, hustle, encourage(ment) and embracing conflict
- Experience managing and tracking donor contributions and organizing gathered data
- Demonstrated experience raising funds and examples of positive outcomes
